Our client is a Rockland County area global manufacturing organization seeking a Customer Service & Order Management Specialist to join its operations team. This position plays a critical role in supporting customers, managing order fulfillment activities, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products and services.

The ideal candidate will bring strong customer relationship skills, experience working within ERP systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer purchase orders from entry through fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with production, planning, logistics, and sales teams to ensure on-time delivery commitments are met.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, pricing, and order details within the ERP system.
  • Review orders for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all required documentation and specifications are included.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to proactively resolve customer issues, shipment delays, and order discrepancies.
  • Monitor open orders, delivery schedules, invoicing activity, and customer requirements.
  • Support trial orders, replacement orders, and return authorization processes as needed.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounts receivable teams regarding payment or credit-related issues.
  • Provide a high level of customer support while building strong long-term business relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service, supply chain, order management, or related operational support roles.
  • Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment such as pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, biotech, or similar industries preferred.
  • Experience using SAP or another ERP platform required.
  • Familiarity with logistics, shipping coordination, production planning, or freight processes is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Salary: $85000 – $100000 / per Year
