Our client is a premier insurance company looking for a Senior Appian Developer
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement custom solutions using the Appian platform
- Build and support workflows and solutions built in the Appian platform
- Leverage relevant software development experience to promote best practices and faster development
- Architect and design applications, including modeling database schema, building out user flows, and creating interfaces
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and design solutions
- Build and invoke web APIs to integrate with various systems that are used across the organization
- Work with leadership to prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
- Lead and support user acceptance testing
- Facilitate user workshops to gather and document business needs, requirements, weaknesses, and challenges
- Document and communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
- Be able to understand the fundamental business needs and come up with creative ways to solve the underlying problems
- Understand the company’s ecosystem and create integrations between digital assets, core systems and business processes
