Senior Business Analyst with EDI experience Morristown, NJ

$75-80/hr W2 (no C2C)
Our client is a Morristown, NJ engineering company with an immediate need for a Senior Business Analyst with EDI experience (preferably in Order to Cash). The Business Analyst will be responsible for eliciting requirements, performing detailed analysis and documentation, modeling processes, data mapping, as well as other items required for successful delivery of the EDI implementation initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Eliciting and documenting 3rd party to SAP via EDI to enable client to receive/send EDI data for customers. EDI data includes sales orders, shipment notifications and invoicing.
- Analysis and understanding of old and new conversion data (ie Master Data: Customers, Products, Cross References)
- Collaborating with the project stakeholders to analyze needs, processes, and data mapping requirements to be developed by the technical team.
Required experience:
- 10+ years’ experience in systems/data analysis with a proven record of successful large scale project implementations.
- Experience in EDI.
- Experience in SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology, including eliciting/documenting user stories/acceptance criteria, backlog management, and Sprint reviews.
- Modeling experience (e.g., process/data flows, use cases, swim lane diagrams, AS-IS / TO-BE diagrams, mock-ups/wireframes).
- Must have experience with Order to Cash (O2C) and/or SAP.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related major.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is a plus.
- Very strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
