Overview:
We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to contribute to the design and execution of automated testing strategies for a suite of in-development applications. The role involves close collaboration with developers and QA professionals to ensure functional integrity and performance across business-critical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks

• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing

• Conduct SQL-based data validation and backend testing

• Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test plans

• Document test coverage, track defects, and report on test execution

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

• Provide regular updates on testing status, issues, and metricsQ

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software QA with a focus on test automation

• Proficiency in tools such as Playwright, Selenium, ReadyAPI, or TestComplete

• Solid understanding of SQL and experience validating data at the database level

• Background in financial services, particularly with trading platforms or portfolio management systems

• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)

• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner

• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS

Salary: $70.00 – $80.00 / per Hour
