Sr. Release Engineer (Contract) Atlanta Metro area, GA
We are in search of an experienced Release Engineer (Contract) who will be a member of a software delivery infrastructure team in an enterprise setting. We are adding a critical member to a small talented team handling complex deployment pipelines.
We need someone with:
- CI/CD expertise – must have proven experience designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant CI/CD systems using Jenkins.
- Strong ability to manage multiple Application Releases: ensure successful code delivery for applications built with Java (Spring Boot), Python across varied environments.
- Efficient in coordination and execution of rollouts across cloud platforms (AWS), container systems (OpenShift), and virtual machines.
- Ability to implement Container Workflows – help design container-based build and deployment strategies leveraging Docker and Kubernetes.
- Skilled with integration tools for code and dependency scanning, ensuring all releases meet internal and regulatory security standards.
- Ability to administer and tune application stacks, including Tomcat clusters and JVM-based services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills who can investigate & resolve complex issues – root cause analysis for complex pipeline or deployment failures across heterogeneous systems.
- Proficient in deploying to and managing AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, EKS)
- A strategic mindset and an ability to engage in technical discussions
Salary: $75 – $80 / per Hour
