Mid-level Product MDM Business Analyst / Product Owner (long term contract)
100% remote, working EST hours

Our client is a global media organization, headquartered in NYC. They currently have a position available for a Business Analyst/PO with 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• The BA/PO will support initiatives involving Product Master Data Management (MDM), including gathering and documenting requirements related to data governance, data quality, and master data workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate MDM needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria that support scalable system implementations.
• Own and manage the product backlog, including writing and prioritizing user stories, acceptance criteria, and features

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner, with hands-on involvement in Product Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives supporting enterprise data platforms.
• Demonstrated data analysis skills, including experience working with data models, data dictionaries, data lineage, and performing source-to-target mapping and data validation.
• Proven ability to translate business data requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria, collaborating closely with data engineers, architects, and QA teams.
• Must have outstanding communication skills!
