Senior IT Project Manager (Infrastructure) 4x a week onsite

Our client is an investments organization in NYC and they are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and Helpdesk initiatives. This high profile role will ensure that projects are delivered as planned. The successful person will be a strategic thinker with a proven ability to execute projects while working seamlessly across technical and business teams.

***This is a fulltime position and is onsite in Midtown NYC 4x a week (no exceptions).

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Management

• Track milestones, dependencies, and risks across concurrent projects
• Maintain clear visibility into timelines, deliverables, and ownership through dashboards and reports
• Lead project planning sessions, stand-ups, and stakeholder updates

IT Process Improvement

• Identify gaps and propose practical, user-focused solutions
• Build and refine templates, playbooks, and workflows to standardize IT delivery
• Support automation and cross-team process improvements

Finance Technology Support

• Partner with Finance and IT on business process, data integration, and cleansing
• Manage stakeholder communication, documentation, and governance

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s in Business, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years in program or project management, ideally within IT
• Proven ownership, critical thinking, and independent execution
• Strong communicator who bridges technical and business priorities

Preferred:

• Experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or finance transformation
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query, modeling)
• Familiarity with Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira, Power BI, or SharePoint
• PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification
