Senior Node/Python Engineer Roswell, GA
Senior Node.js developer needed for our client’s growing team, based in Roswell, GA.
This position is onsite 2x a week in Roswell, GA and will include an
IN PERSON INTERVIEW.

Roswell, GA client is seeking a strong, backend-focused Senior Engineer with deep experience in JavaScript-based stacks, particularly Node.js, along with a deep Python background. This role is heavily backend-oriented, emphasizing APIs, serverless architecture, and cloud-native services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs supporting high-volume client integrations.
- Develop backend services using Node.js and Python, with a strong focus on performance, security, and reliability.
- Build and support AWS serverless solutions, including:
- Lambda functions
- Step Functions for workflow orchestration and service coordination
- Contribute to a platform that enables self-service API access for hundreds of external consumers.
- Work independently to deliver features end-to-end in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Collaborate across teams and participate in cross-training initiatives to broaden technical expertise.
- Support and contribute to Generative AI initiatives, tools, or integrations as part of ongoing platform evolution.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of backend development experience, Node.js development, including strong experience in MongoDB.
- Expertise in API development
- Knowledge of Python, and strong object-oriented design
- SQL and NoSQL data stores
- Hands-on experience with the MERN stack, with a clear preference for backend-heavy development.
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver consistently in a high-velocity environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
Salary: $73 – $83 / per Hour
