Our insurance client is seeking a hands-on C#/.NET Developer to join a growing Enterprise Services team supporting the development of a new platform. This is a backend-focused role (no UI responsibilities), centered on designing and building scalable REST APIs, business logic, and data access layers using modern .NET technologies.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing C# and .NET Core APIs, working with Entity Framework, implementing domain-driven design principles, and writing comprehensive unit tests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET Core REST APIs
• Build and support business logic and data access layers
• Apply domain-driven design principles and best practices
• Develop and execute unit tests and perform thorough application testing
• Collaborate with a team of developers to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
• Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions
Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience with C# and .NET Core development
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with Entity Framework
• Experience with unit testing and software quality practices
• Understanding of domain-driven design concepts
• Azure experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work onsite in Downtown Manhattan 3x per week
Salary: $75 – $90 / per Hour
